Topic: AutoCAD 2011 Win7 64 bitPosted: 25.Jan.2011 at 11:50 |

I have a problem when I still wants to work with a calcompdrawingboard III. The problem is that AutoCAD 2011 64 bit will not work with the WinTab ADI 4.2 driver. Win 7 recognize calcomps latest driver but AutoCAD will not. It´s working good on a 32 bit XP pro workstation. Can anyone help me with this.

Is it because it is a 16-bit driver?
What version of Win7 are you using? Home Premium? Pro? Ultimate? Other? Edited by John Connor - 02.Feb.2011 at 12:12 |

AutoCAD R11 might not work well with Win7 64-bit but RobWil is asking about AutoCAD 2011. This version is fully compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.
To RobWil: Make sure that also your hardware is compatible with Win7 64bit. Get the Win7 driver for your digitizer or try a general Windows driver (multi-vendor driver).

Please clarify what version of AutoCAD you are running for us. Is it really Release 11 or 2011?
I could fully understand you having problems if you were running r11. There should be no problems running 2011 on a Win7 64-bit system unless something was botched during the install process.
What kinds of problems are you having? Please be as specific/detailed as you can. The more information we have the better your chances of getting an answer.
