Go to 'tools', 'options'; then on the tab click 'user preferences'. look to the upper left, see 'right click customization'. This would be a good place to start...

OSNAP will not automatically SNAP you to an object. OSNAP is only for managing your Object Snap Settings.

In order for your OSNAPs to work properly the following must be true:

1. Your OSNAPs have to be enabled,
2. The appropriate Object Snap Modes need to be enabled
3. You MUST be in a command that uses OSNAPs

I've never quite understood that. Shocked I mean, I know that having the CAPS ON is supposed to be like YELLING, but it really only works like that if you CAPITALIZE A FEW WORDS AT A TIME.

It kinda makes me wonder if those reading an ALL CAPS statement (like Annie's) are YELLING IN THEIR OWN MIND. And if so, why? Ouch

Just sayin. Tongue

Hi, thank you for responding.  I do have my osnaps enabled.  i have also checked the tools options and user preferences and they are set to my old version that was working properly. I have also checked the osnap settings but nothing seams to work.  Any suggestions???? A.
