Hello friends,

Newbie here. I've been using Arcmap most of the time for all my Map data but just recently i encountered files from InfoCAD software, is there any programs or methods to directly convert these infocad files to Arcmap?

Does InfoCAD have the ability to either export as a DXF file type or "save as" such?

What file formats does InfoCAD support?

i'm not really sure about this whole infocad thing. It's my first time to encounter these files.
 Here are the file extensions:

county.ele
county.fig
county.fm1
county.fm2
county.lay
county.mio
county.mtx
county.sty
county.txt
county.prj
county. (config settings)
county. (MacPaint image)

14 file under the same file name.

anybody know how to open these files?

I meant the file extension that a drawing is saved to.  Is it included in the list you provided?

Do you have the translator module?  If so you can output a file in DXF file format which AutoCAD, via the DXFIN command, can open.

the drawing file is not included and this made it even harder to determine which program owns the file. I can compare this whole to shapefile on ArcGIS without the .mxd

Do you at least know what extensions ArcMap can work with?  I'm not finding a lot of useful information about InfoCAD.  Who did you get the InfoCAD files from?

I try to add these files into an open ArcMap (as new layer) but it was not recognized.

It's old data in a form you can't use at the moment.  Is there anyone you can talk to where you got the original data from?  Have you found any information on InfoCAD?

Where in the Phillipines are you located?

What company do you work for?
