What, if any, guidelines are there for the posting of blocks here at the CADforum? Thanks.

As per the disclaimer at the bottom of the blocks page:
In the terms of use you'll find the info (I believe) you're looking for. Along those lines, I would assume that as long as the block is "yours" (meaning, not proprietary, or not owned by a company that has created/copyrighted the block for their purposes) then it would be ok to upload. It's not the downloading of blocks I was concerned about but thanks. I thought maybe there was some standard CADforum wanted members to follow when creating a block for uploading to the site. But I get the impression just about anything goes. Thanks again.

Yes, exactly - see also the help pop-up under the orange-white question mark in the CAD Blocks section. There are both technical and legal guidelines.

There is. If you take a second to skim the terms of use, you'll see the paragraph that starts with: "To add a new block". The last paragraph (of that section) pretty much states exactly what I said before:

The block I had in mind was created by "yours truly". It is a 3D block of a level probe.
