Hi guys.
I was wondering if you guys can help me, any sugestion will be appreciated.
I`m making a database for a friend who is in the construction bussiness.
It simple database, it only has one form with the clients personal info, and a image of the land where the house is gona be built.
I was expecting him to bring me one image at time to load with the form,
instead he gave me a  dwg file, that has the whole town, this image is full of squares, and rectangulo that represents the location of the houses.
now I`m pulling my hair trying to find a way to get the coodinates of these object and label so that i can load it on the form one by one, and not the whole map.
I was planing to use C++ , VB or Ms access to dmake the form.
so can you guys give me any sugestion on how to even aproach this.
I wilhe don`t now noting about AutoCad.
I have version 2011 installed here, but i don`t evem know the diferrences on this file format dwg, dfx..
thank you.

When you same images are actual photos being used?

I suggested ArcGIS because you mentioned building a database.
