Hey,

New to the forum.  I have a default installed version of AutoCAD LT 2006 and I was wondering whether anybody would know how to change the line command.  What I want is to be able to enter a dimension value in millimetres after pressing the line button.  It isn't set up and when I enter a value it doesn't appear.

i.e. Line --> command: 400 millimetres ---> line moves across 4 dots on the grid (I have set my X and Y-value coordinates to 100 millimetres on the grids).

ps. i'm trying to set AutoCAD up to enable me to use it more efficiently at work.

thanks!
