Welcome!!

I'm not by my station at the moment, but I do believe there is a way in your Express Tools.

If nobody else confirms within the next 10-12 hours, I will.

First convert your texts to outlines with TXTEXP, then extrude the outline to 3D.

TXTEXP is a lisp routine found in Express Tools.

Use this message that was suggested at the CADTutor AutoCAD forum by rkent.

With Express Tools loaded.

1) Create the text on layer 1.

2) Use TXTEXP.

3) Change to layer 2.

4) Place a rectangle around the entities and use BPOLY to create a clean outline of each letter.

5) Clean up is as simple as locking layers and erasing or moving the entities.
