Hello everybody,

I'm new to AutoCAD2010 (I'm used to older versions), and have just finished a simple drawing of a piece for a supplier.
I added some dimensions of the pieces, but they do not show up when i'm sending the drawing to my printer, or when i'm exporting to PDF.
The rest of the drawing is printed correctly.

Could anyone tell me how to print dimensions ?

I googled around, but could not find any help... But i discovered this forum instead ;)

Thanks for any help.

Do you use standard or annotative dimension style?
Do you print from Model or Viewport?

Hey, thanks a lot, you solved my problem with 2 good questions. I used the dimensions in parametric tab, i tried the ones under the annotate tab, and it's working.

Autodesk made so much changes on this software, it's a real mess.

Thanks ;)

There's no need to "Google around" to get help as it is right there at your fingertips.  Press the F1 key to bring up your AutoCAD Help file and search on a keyword such as "Dimensions".  There you'll see about 36 different sub-topics dealing with the term.

Another source of information is your User's Guide which shipped on your installation media and should have been loaded during the install process.

You might want to consider picking up a good after-market book (maybe one by George Omura) for AutoCAD 2011 because as you have already found out there are many new features to learn about.
