Thanks!...........Pat

How detailed does it have to be?  I don't have one but I do believe I have a 2D drawing somewhere done to scale that could easily be converted to 3D.  We use tote bins to transfer small chemical batches between pilot plants and for small quantities of raw material.

Good question!  Not very at all.  The scale being viewed is approx 1:200 metric.  Just needs to be recognized as such.  Was trying to save time by using an existing and add it to my 3d library.

How easy is it to convert to 3d?  Do you mean you would do or would be easy for me to do?

We use totes for small batch filling to 5 gal containers.  This plan I'm working on is for a Peruvian mfg facility we are looking to build.  Trying to get the concept built for our contractors & architects down there.

I think it would be relatively easy for you to do depending on how much detail is required.  Do you have a 2D drawing to work with?

Have you completed your 3D tote tank drawing yet?

Am starting now.  I do have plan, elev & iso views of a 250 gal tote.  Will use those to build one.  Since I know will use for future projects, is worth the time to build it.

OK.  It's worth the exercise.  I built my 3D version this morning.  Have fun.

Excellent!  Wanna share?  Is there a way to attach a file?  I'm new to the forum.  Wish I had rounded the corners more but have seen sharper corners on some models.

I think that could be arranged at some point.
I asked the same question re: attaching files last week.  An answer was posted.  You can probably find the thread easily enough.
I rounded my corners and put a little more detail into some areas than I had originally planned on.  I guess I got a bit carried away.

So, where you at dude?  Making progress I hope.  I'm adding some further detail to mine on top where the cover is.  Might as well "pimp my ride"!  LOL

OK...I'm done.  Really.  Done.
I've added the lock ring around the cover on top with the tabs for the bolt and the bolt itself.  I refuse to add threads to the bolt as that would be way overkill don't you think?
