Topic: drawing recovery URGENT HELP!!! PLEASE! Posted: 15.Mar.2011 at 16:24 |
hi i was working on a autocad drawing, and almost finished it but I opened a block located in the layout in the block editor and I wouldn't let me close it so I saved the drawing closed it and when i reopened it the dwg only hay the saved version of my layout block but IN THE MODEL. is there anyway i can restore to my old model! i mean its like 5days work i'm loosing here. i have no sv$ and the bak file has the same content as it saved itself the same as the dwg.
It looks like it replaced my model! ANY IDEAS??? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
don't know why but the block now appears exploded on my model and the rest is empty. I even had mviews / viewports in the layout to stuff on my model and now the viewports are empty! is there an UNDO after save option??? lol I DON'T KNOW! but its 4 days of work!

OK, that was weird. You may already lost your drawing. Your only option is the backup file, but you don't have them too. It looks like AutoCAD save your block as your drawing.
