AutroCAD 2011 with Project SnapProject Snap is a free Technology Preview from Autodesk Labs that saves you serious time looking for content and even managing data inside AutoCAD. Think of it like the AutoCAD Design Center but on steroids (legally prescribed ones of course). Use Snap to locate blocks and other design data by searching metadata such as file properties, text, and attributes.

You can also create Snapshots which are milestones of your drawings and then recall older version Snapshots.I took a Snapshot before inserting shark block onto my floor plan drawing. Why a shark, because I am not an architect and also because it is extremely noticeable in the Snapshot Manager.

I completely understand why they named the project “Snap”. It really is a snap to locate and manage data.
