Hy!

I have a bit strange problem with my autocad 2011. Since i am new to it, this might be a beginer mistake, but i was searching for answer and google can not find it, so...

When i try to create text (multiline, single line doesn`t really matter), i pick font, size and everything smoothly, and than type it, still ok. When i want to finish it, it goes away and there is some strange line created. There is no text left, only doted line or not even a line, just spot...

When i type my text it looks like this:

and than...

Can someone tells me what i did wrong in options or anywhere?
Thank you,

best regards,

Maki21

Try to zoom in. It's possible, that you text height is too small to display.

Try to change the text style.
Or edit the style you have selected for that text (Standard). Try changing the font and height.

Are you working in model space or a paper space layout?

What units are you working in?

What is the height of your text set at?

Just for the fun of it change the 1 to 100 and see what, if anything, happens in your drawing.

Post the drawing and let someone here take a look at it.

What do you mean? To paste the whole autocad file as attachment? or what? Or just a print screen?
