Alright, I came across this on my Twitter account. Apparently, SoftwareMedia is hosting a CAD design contest. Top three designs get a free copy of AutoCAD LT 2012! That's pretty cool. I don't really use AutoCAD (most of my *limited* experience is with 3ds) but I thought fellow drafters and such might get a kick out of it. Cheers! Big%20smile

do a twitter search for "softwaremedia" or go to softwarenewsdaily.com for more details.

How many CAD forums have you posted this same message to so far?

Thought it might be spam.

What's your connection to the contest?

Yeah, I've seen this same message posted on other forums as well. Other forums where I am a moderator and can see the email address you used when you signed up, which just so happens to be the same as the website you are promoting. So, do you want to start over and tell us who you really are?

I realize there is a lot of spam on forums, but the contest is legit. I'm not trying to spam, troll, flame or anything. Just mentioning a design contest on a couple CAD forums to let people know. Since you ask; yes, I am involved with the contest. Since we aren't just a CAD store, I don't have too many engineer/drafter contacts, so I thought I'd post where CAD users gather.
