hey everyone,

I got an interesting question. as i am a structural drafter we receive DWG files from Architects to work on. this is normally no problem but there is one company who cant seem to send a simple Bound DWG. When we go to open one of there drawings it takes atleast a minute or more, this is due to all the unreferenced Files which is due to them not Binding them properly and then detaching ones that are not needed. my question is:

Is there a way to stop autocad searching for these files as obviously we dont have there server.

thanks for help.
