That's the message I'm getting from my 04 acad at times.

Upon loading I'll get a message box with : Fail to create commcntrclient sink object.

If I pull up a drawing and try and access properties it won't happen and I get a fatal error. The only way to make this go away is to uninstall and reload .... which is a pain.

Any idea what gives here??

 WELCOME TO CADFORUM.

I SUGGEST YOU TO SEE THAT:

This error may occur if third-party programs, such as system registry cleaners, have corrupted one or more of the registry settings during a cleanup process.

To resolve this issue, you must perform a clean reinstallation of AutoCAD®.

To ensure a clean reinstallation of AutoCAD, follow the instructions contained in the following solution: Remove all Autodesk® software products from system to ensure clean installation.
