Hello guys,
I'm having some issues when i'm hiding lines on my AutoCAD 2011. I receive this message: "Not enough free RAM for HIDE--some lines will be hidden incorrectly." I don't know why this is happening. Here are my PC specs: Quad Core 2.22Ghz 4Gb RAM 500 GB HD ATI RADEON HD 4300 |

Haven't seen a message like that since the DOS days and early AutoCAD.
What else are you running in the background while using AutoCAD? How many sessions of AutoCAD do you run at one time? When did the problem first occur? What have you been tweaking or tinkering with on your computer? |

Just curious.
Is this a 32-bit or 64-bit system? What version of Windows are you running? XP, Win7, other? |

Re: HIDEPRECISION.
The default setting for this variable is "0" meaning less memory needed, less calculation time consumed, but also less precision. Unless you intentionally reset it to "1" to use more memory. Did you? Edited by John Connor - 21.Jun.2011 at 12:18 |

Hide should normally have enough memory in either setting. Toggling its value switches to a completely different hide-algorithm which may solve the memory problem (because it sounds like a software bug).
