I work at our Autodesk Office at One Market Street in San Francisco. As part of our efforts to be a sustainable company, I take public transit, a ferry, to work. Our CEO, Carl Bass, also takes public transit - the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train. We do what we can. My office used to be on the 2nd floor of this building. Our second floor actually earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum status for commercial interiors - one of only two such honors in California at the time. The other was the Energy Foundation in San Francisco. Recently the Autodesk Labs team relocated to the 4th floor which was also created with sustainability in mind. All of this does not happen by accident. We have a team of people, our Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, and Travel (CREFT) department, who put in countless hours to help Autodesk achieve its sustainability goals. Recently the CREFT team internally released a video to show some of the work they had completed at our 111 McInnis location. I got permission to share it with you. I am proud to work at Autodesk. Yeah we do that software thing, but we also do the right things. Carl wants us to be a good, great, and important company.
