   I posted this earlier but after reading it, I might have made it too confusing.  Let's try this again...

When I embed an Excel sheet into AutoCAD for the purpose of being a bill of material, all grid lines are plotting out.  This includes the grid lines that have NOT been activated in Excel.  Do I need to make my settings change in Excel or AutoCAD so that only the grid lines I've turned on print and how?

	LOL....absolutely. For clarity, I have Office 2010. In Excel, there is the "ribbon" at the top which is basically large toolbars with drop downs. From the "Page Layout" tab go to the "Sheet Options" drop down. In there you find the "Gridlines" and you can either check the Print or View option. By default, Excel has a check in the view box. Uncheck this option. Then highlight the cells to copy, link them to your CAD file and not only do they not plot out but you don't even see them in your file. Hopefully that helps. CheddarThief
