AutoCAD 2012 for MacPlease join me for a fun walk through of the recently released AutoCAD for Mac 2012 at the San Francisco Autodesk Users Group SFAUG September 2011 monthly meeting.  I will cover the new AutoCAD for Mac 2012 and aim wide for those that are Mac curious or newbies to the Mac as well as for the Mac experts and answer questions.

Read more on the AutoCAD 2012 for Mac new features in my blog post on the announcement of AutoCAD 2012 for Mac, AutoCAD LT for Mac, and AutoCAD WS for Mac.

AutoCAD 2012 for Mac, AutoCAD LT 2012 for Mac, and AutoCAD WS for Mac Announced

AutoCAD for Mac 2012 software includes familiar AutoCAD capabilities, such as 2D and 3D design tools, and includes 3D free-form modeling capabilities; 3D visualization and rendering; network licensing; advanced customization of the menus; support for LISP and ObjectARX and ObjectDBX applications; and more.

Being a multi OS platform and software kind of guy I can also answer your AutoCAD for Windows and other Autodesk product questions. I will also be showing some cool "FREE’ technologies we are working in in Autodesk Labs.

Not a member of SFAUG, not a problem they welcome new members: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/SFAUG/

Fun Autodesk fact for those that compete in geeky Autodesk trivia: AutoCAD 2012 for Mac was codenamed Iron Maiden while AutoCAD 2012 for Windows was codenamed Ironman while in development and beta testing. We seem to be in a music theme recently.

It has been quite awhile since I had presented at SFAUG but I am really honored and excited to get back and see everyone.

Cheers,
Shaan
