Can I know what AutoCAD application is suitable for a geoscientist or Mining Engineer who has not got started with any AutoCAD application at all and will like to learn AutoCAD in relation to the Gescience/Mining sector.Confused

It might be suitable with some sort of add-on program.  You'll be working strictly in 3D right?

There is one add-on I know of called Mapworks Mining for AutoCAD available from DotSoft.

There is also Carlson Mining 2012.

And one last product called PROMINE.

No, I do not have any experience with these programs.  Your best bet is to request a free trial and see what each can do to meet your needs.  Good luck.
