I frequently get another osnap selection than the one I picked from my right-click menu, i.e. I select 'perpendicular' and get 'center of' or 'tangent to'.
 
Has anyone run into anything like this.

I'm using 2011 at the moment and I'd have to say my answer would be "no".

Did you happen to use a custom lisp routine previous to this happening?
