Hi
I just download the LineOut utility to extract line type definitions but when I create the linetype definition file, it will not work in othe drawings, help........Confused

What do you mean "it will not work"?  You cannot load the linetype?

when I try to load the just extrcted line type into a new drawing I get an error message saying " Bad definition of *line type name* at line 6 of file C:\Documents and Settings\*\*\Linetype.lin   & will not load any line type

Post the linetype file.  Maybe someone here can take a look at it and figure out why it won't work.

Please note that complex linetypes may depend on other files - shape definitions (SHX). Post the complaining line of your linetype definition. You will probably need to add the missing SHX file to your target workstation.
