Friends,
How to export models from 3ds Max or AutoCAD to Matrix 3D (Gemvision)?
The files format of Matrix 3D is *.3dm.
Any of you have worked with Jewell desings before?
Thanks a lot,

Many CAD applications can use (import/export) the DXF file format as a common interchange format. Other general 3D formats are IGES and STEP.
There is little chance that a software X directly reads software's Y native file format.

The Gemvision Matrix 3D is a very custom software for jewell design but I found the way. The Matrix 3D is direct connected with Rhino 4.0 and this last can import from 3ds Max, so I guess my question is answered. I will confirm and inform the forum.
Thank you for your clarification with the DXF format function. Edited by jewellry - 30.Apr.2008 at 17:33 |

tringuyen-
I am a student and I've been looking for a copy of Matrix 3d, it doesn't have to be the most recent version. I'm tracking this post, so please let the forum know when you've set your email to be visible and I'll contact you for regarding the software. Thanks for your offer! ![]() |
