I select an end point on a solid object as the 1st point origin

Then enter 0,0,0

Hit enter and the part goes nowhere (relocate to the ucs world origin, no ?)

My fix is draw a line from 0,0,0 to the point on the solid

Then select the 2 end points of the line and the part moves

What am I missing here.

Move is a very simple command in any CAD software.

Question;

1 Is my ACAD 2012 download corrupt ?

2 Is Move the command I am to use to revise the coordinates of an object ?
