   Im wondering if there is a option to change the color of  text in a multileader when it is first created.  The default is white. After you hit OK it changes to the color of the layer/color your drawing with. 

At times I am tracing a jpg (which is on a white background) and its impossible to see the text as its being typed.

	If You go to your multileader options and change the text color under content from By Block to something like red it will type as red and save as read when you hit ok. Is this helpful??

	uploads/20120110_204614_LeaderTextColor.pdf Colors are defined in the MLEADERSTYLE. You can override the text color in your leader definition, or you can leave both the leader line and text to display at the same color. You need to define ByLayer to do this. Then when you insert your leader on the proper layer you'll get the colors you expect. I tend to leave both set to ByLayer myself. Dave. Edited by heinsite - 10.Jan.2012 at 20:54

	Another idea would be to convert your JPG to a PDF and insert that into your model space. Doing this will give you a black background to work with (as long as you also define black as your model space default background). That's another way to work this. I misread your OP... leader text can be white on my system too while it's being edited, but doesn't have to be. Dave. Edited by heinsite - 11.Jan.2012 at 02:25

	Actually We are trying AutoCAD 2010 and i have a question about multileader i cannot find in the manual. We are used to set a bright background mask under our text (including Mtext, Qleader, Dimensions) this way the printed text can be seen much better in dark area. Now i'm am upgrading from AutoCAD 2007 and discovering Multileader If you have any suggestion then reply me.

	Dagney, Definitely use MLeaders from now on, now that you have 2008. MLeaders give you far more options. And create MLEADERSTYLEs too. In the style setup on the Text tab you'll find a section called Fill Color. That's where you'll now set up the background mask color you want behind your leader text. Dave.
