I am using AutoCad 2008 LT an have been trying to learn about the 'hlsettings' command.  when I type the command nothing happens.
AutoCad help list the command but I do not get a dialog box as it says.
Can anyone help.

This command should work in LT. Try the repair installation, or the dialog may be dragged off-screen.

In any case, all settings from HLSETTINGS can be also set with the corresponding system variables.

_visualstyles

That brings up the same dialog box.  I have MEP 2008 so I'm not sure if LT has anything to do with it or not.

Thanks, I appreciate the response.  I tried the repair installation but I still can't get the dialog box.

The _visualstyles command doesn't work in AutoCad LT 2008.

I downloaded a LT drawing from a manufacturers website and as you went from view to view the hidden lines disappear.  I can draw in 3D/Iso but I do not know enough about how to set my drawing up.  When checking the objects in the downloaded drawings they are called a 'polygon mesh' in properties.

Thanks again for all your help!

According to THIS COMPARISON MATRIX Visual Styles are not supported in LT.
