When using "draw table" to insert an Excell Spreadsheat into my 2012 drawing, the grid lines appear even though they are turned off in Excell.  Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

How do you use "draw" to insert an Excel spreadsheet?  That's a technique I never heard of.

Using the "draw table" with a data link, the grid lines from Excell show up even though they are turned off in Excell.

Don't the grid lines in AutoCAD serve some specific function?

The grid lines in question are being brought over from the Excell Spreadsheet, even when they are turned off in the Excell Spreadsheet.  I have borders active in Excell, but the Excell grid seems to overide any format that I have setup.

Yes I know how the grid lines are brought over.

Short answer: no, you can't get rid of them.
