I opened my AutoCad LT 2010 today and there are no layers except the 0 (zero) layer!  I opened Layer Properties and made sure there were no filters (it's on All), and the only layer existing is the 0 (zero) layer!  How did this happen and what can I do to fix it?

Did you purge it yesterday?

It's going to take more information from you to figure out what happened.  Tell us what the file is, what you've been doing with it... more than likely it's something you did.

Mike:

Was this a drawing you were previously working on and had created additional layers?

Or....

Are you referring to a new drawing in which you used a custom template and the layers you created now appear to be gone?

If you created a template and saved as .dwt, did you set the path in Options>Files>Template Settings>Default Template File Name for QNEW?
