In his workflow from 123D Catch Beta to 123D Make, Technology Evangelist for the Office of the CTO, Shaan Hurley, has been using meshmixer. What does meshmixer do you say? Check out this email. As part of their collaboration to improve meshmixer, Shaan got the following email from meshmixer developer, Ryan Schmidt. Hey Shaan, I am just working on textures in meshmixer, and I thought you might be interested in seeing this. I applied some smoothing to the face of that Scott Sheppard model you sent me - maybe a bit too much though, seems to have made him younger. But it seems like this smoothing would be effective for quickly cleaning up face scans for use in other things.
