hi all,
I am having issue with copy objects from 2012 to 2008. It paste it in OLE format what ever I try to copy(lines, circles, etc.) Is there any system settings which allows me to change it?

No there isn't.  You'll have to resort to using the WBlock command.

thanks for your reply. in my previous work I was allowed to do this without any probs. It must be some settings that I can copy stuff across...

No there isn't.  The file formats are too different to use copy/paste.  Been there...tried that...failed.  Take my word for it.
