Hi, I am trying to find out a method for mass printing of drawings that are currently dwg format. I have googled around and looked through this forum, but can't get a rock solid method.

We don't normally use AutoCAD for our drawings, a client sent us 200 dwg files that we need to print to 11x17. Instead of opening them each up individually and printing, I used the publish function in AutoCAD LT 2008 to create dwf files from the dwg's and then proceeded to use the free software from Autodesk - Design Review, which has the ability to batch print dwf's.

The only problem I have is during the conversion from dwg to dwf a portion of the right side of the drawing, about an inch is cut off. I have looked through the AutoCad options, but the LT version is very limited. Why does it lose this portion of the drawing? Most of the drawings don't have any information in that cut-off section but the title block is cut, which looks unprofessional.

Anybody have a solution, were not looking to spend $3000 on a full version of AutoCad just so we can batch print every now and then.

hmmm...you have lost me, I believe they are layout.

The problem lies within the conversion from dwg to dwf. Once I select the 200 dwg files in AutoCAD, and press publish to dwf.
They all have the right side cut off. Just opening the files on the computer, this can be seen, without having to print. But there is no options in the publish window to try and resolve this issue.

Is there settings that can be applied to the dwg before converting to dwf to resolve this issue? IF so, is it worth the time to apply them, or is the same as opening each dwg and plotting individually which works fine.

I'm just trying to save myself a couple hours of boring monotonous work.

Ok I have added 2 files to the CAD Blocks section of this forum, the dwg is titled:

LMD-9225 001-0

and the same drawing converted to dwf is titled:

LMD-9225 001-0-Layout D size

Have a look, I have manually printed out all the drawings, one by one because they were needed yesterday, but a solution to this issue would still be appreciated, I'm sure it will arise again someday.
