When I try to import an ifc file into  ADT 2008 it crashes ADT.  The ifc file was created in Revit archicture 2009.  I have a trial version of this Revit product and have tried exporting as a 2x2, as a 2x3, with the current plan only checked and unchecked.  Does anybody have some insight on this problem?  I want the smart objects from the Revit model to convert into a Bill of Materials.  The drawing file conversions give worthless results in this regard.  Spaces and Polymeshes don't do me any good.

Thanks-

Probably some type of IFC data is causing this. You try to limit the exported data set only to the objects you need in ADT.

BTW, what other BOM functions offers ADT compared to the schedules/tables available in Revit?
