Hey all,
not sure if anyone has a solution but i work in an architectural office which has just started to introduce annotative dimensions (we were a bit old fashioned in our drawing process till now). When we have multiple level of dimensions on the one drawing at 1:1 we set them out 10mm off face of glass the next level is 20mm from face of glass the next is 30mm etc etc. We then add an annotation scale of say 1:2 the text and arrows change no problem however this offset does not increase to 20mm - 40mm - 60mm etc etc. Is this a variable that needs to be changed or is it an impossible task. Thanks for any feedback

Go to the Help file and study DIMSPACE.  There is lot there that will get you up to speed on how to do this, but for the most part you may find "Auto" will work well.
