Dear colleagues

We work in AUTOCAD for drawings. I am trying to implement PDM system for current project that I am involved in. What would be the best PDM for AUTOCAD, from your best knowledge?

Thank you for any help

There is an "official" PDM system fully compatible and integrated into AutoCAD - Autodesk Vault.

Thank you for reply Vladimir

"Official" costs money :) It's probably the best application for AutoCad but is not that affordable that other on the market. In fact "DBWorks" is much cheaper alternative, and "GOPDM" is absolutely free! I am sure everyone can find some advantages and disadvantages in each of them. Really, you may not need all features for your work. That's why I am asking professionals to advise what would be price/feature effective.

Thank you for any input.

Not neccessarily - in fact Autodesk Vault Basic is included for free with many AutoCAD versions (e.g. AutoCAD Mechanical, Electrical, Civil 3D), plus with almost all other versions when they are under Subscription (e.g. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Map, AutoCAD MEP, Plant 3D, ECSCAD).
