I'm thinking this new Dell mouse is bogus.. but I'll throw it out there to the good people of CADForum.. Each time I perform a slow left-click action during AutoCAD sessions, the mouse gives me a double-click reaction and screws with my CAD commands. Seems other people in the office have been experiencing this same issue.
SURVEY SAYS... CAD 2013 LT glitch? or crappy new mouse?

Hello, did you check your mouse parameters ( double clic speed ).
You find this in Windows :
START , PARAMETERS , CONFIG. PANNEL , MOUSE , DOUBLE CLIC SPEED
Check out all the words because this is a crude translation from my french computer !

Oui, ça n'a pas fonctionné. J'ai augmenté ma sensibilité de la souris en vain. Je commence Å• me demander si c'est cette version d'AutoCAD, mais je ne peux pas trouver quelque chose en ligne pour donner un sens Å• toutes ces bÄ™tises .. Mon Dieu, j'espÄre que cela fonctionne Google Translate. Wink
(Translated: Yes, it did not work. I increased my mouse sensitivity to no avail. I am starting to wonder if it's this version of AutoCAD, but I cannot find anything online to make sense of all this nonsense.. Gosh, I hope this Google Translate works. Wink)

Tres bon! Haha, well, I certainly appreciate your input. I took 4 years of French, but you're the 1st French person I've met since graduation, so please forgive me for resorting to the Google Translate. I'm pretty rusty.

Ha! At the muse of my IT guy, he asked if I tried to plug in a new mouse. I humored him, and it worked. My faux-double click problem went away. How quick we are to dismiss the possibility that new technology doesn't always work. Thanks! RESOLVED

Tamal, thanks for replying. The problem was solved after plugging in another mouse. The mouse settings were unchanged from when I first received the new computer. After toggling with the settings to a reasonable degree, the issue was still occurring. But, again, problem solved: defective mouse! Thanks!
