when i try a quick trim, instead of trimming to nearest object the trim breaks the line at the point of selection. trimming works fine when initially selecting a trim object, but the quick trim is the problem. it is almost like it is trimming to turned off layers, even though none exist.

i will try to draw using the keayboard

what i get when i quick trim in the middle of a newly drawn line in 6 different spots:
 __________        ___ _______ _    ______ ______    __________

i have already tried restarting my computer, and i assume it is just a setting that was accidently changed.

any help would be appreciated, thanks.
