New To The Forum And Have A Question Here About Installing Inventor Series 6 On A Windows Machine. I Recently Bought A Few Lots Of Items From An Auction And In With The Lots Was An "Autodesk Inventor Series 6 (XP Compatible)" Full Suite Program....The Software Included The Original Box, Manual , Install Disc and The Activation Code and Serial Numbers....I Have Not Used This Software Before But Have Used Various Autocad In The Past...My Question Or Concern Is Although This Is An Older Version Of The Software, Can I Install On A Windows 7 Machine and If So Being That The Software Was Pre Owned, Can I Install On Both My Desktop and Laptop Running Windows 7? Or Am I Limited In How Many Installs I Can Do With Pre Owned Software? Any Information Or Help On This Topic Will Be Greatly Appreciated.

You might have to run it under virtual machine or XP mode.

If you have the activation code and serial numbers then I don't see what you are worried about assuming the activation code is legit.  You can install it on both computers but you can't run the program concurrently.
