Hey everyone Im new to this forum but it seems pretty cool.  I just wanted to know if anyone here has any drawings that I could possibly draw.  I have the program at my house and my tech drawing teacher said he would get drawings for me but school is over now.  We had a orange hardcover book titled "Basic Technical Engieering Drawing" or something along those lines.  It had a bunch of drawings of like machine and car parts and I wanted to draw some of those this summer.  Can anyone get me some drawings from that book or tell me where I can get it, and can anyone find drawings at all. Thanks for your help in advance.

If you search the web for tutorials or examples, there will be a plethora of material for you.

does anybody knw why on my cad drawings i can see elements but then when i print them they don't come out at all

Do you have a layout set up at all?  That is your Paper Space for printing, while the Model Space is used for drawing your "elements".
