User Group Meeting Around the GlobeI always enjoy attending user groups and do whenever I am in a town having one. Since I cannot really travel to all user groups, and receive numerous requests to speak and attend in all corners of the globe, I felt this would be one way to attend and participate user groups and customer training sessions almost anywhere. I am expanding the number of my Autodesk presentations without the added expenses of travel, living on planes (in the Hurley seat) and those frustrating airports part. I will begin offering web based meetings to user groups and company teams.

WebcamWe could see each others faces and voices live in a webcam in a virtual meeting of CAD and Design Professionals via GoToMeeting, Google Hangouts, etc. Think of it as a live discussion roundtable group with faces and voices or perhaps a speaker presentation. Could be a great deal of fun, or a fun awkward bumpy experiment.

I speak on various technology topics like Autodesk in general, Autodesk Labs, and several Autodesk products and some humor to make it all fun and more personally tailored to the audience.

If your Autodesk or AUGI user group or company team has a projector, webcam with microphone, and a decent Internet connection, and would like to have me do a short presentation followed by questions and answers live, please let me know. Email Me with suggestions on date, format, attendees disciplines and products used, and potential topics.

One more clarification is that there will not be the ability to serve pizza and beer through an internet connection, so it will be a Bring Your Own Refreshment And Pizza “BYORAP” or have your host provide the real thing.

Cheers,
Shaan
