Hello,

I am getting License Reactivate error in my Autocad 2009.
I read a topic about this problem i this forum and same has been
mentioned in the Autodesk web site also.
They have specifically mentioned that it is a problem
usually found in computers with SATA controller.

My motherboard is Intel865GVHZ and I have a 80GB PATA
and 250GB SATA. I installed Autocad 2009 in SATA and it is
giving the above error.

I checked my registry.
The following entry is found there.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Licenses\Autodesk Licensing Service

No Parameters key is found. Then I created key named Parameters
Then at the rightside below the default I created a new Dword
namely MSI_Disable and set its value = 1.

Still I am getting this error.

I ran msinfo32 and I could not find any Seral/SATA controller entry against
SCSI as mentioned in the Autodesk website.

Does it mean the above fix will not work for my PC?
Please advice me...

Thanks.
