I have Auto CAD Version 2010, 2012 in my PC and while calculating area when i calculate area in 2012 version it gives me 4877.92 and in 2010 version of Auto CAD it gives 4935.52. I want to know if anybody have the solution for that why this happening. why the 2012 version shows the less area for the same drawings ? NOte: The area of 2010 Version is correct. Thanks in advance

The area boundary probably contains self-intersecting segments. There is also a similar problem in version 2013. Try to use the AddArea function.

Are both versions of your software current with all service packs?
I have never experienced this problem. |
