Many of you recall Feature Recognition for Inventor as a technology preview on Autodesk Labs. The technology allows you to convert neutral 3D CAD models, such as STEP, SAT, or IGES solids, into full-featured Inventor models. You can apply feature mapping automatically or interactively as needed to maintain your design intent. Well the preview has graduated from Labs, and the technology is now available on the App Center for Inventor for Autodesk Subscription Customers. Recognition is alive in the lab.
