The River Analysis Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 was our technology preview of a sophisticated river modeling software package that supported HEC-RAS within the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 environments. This technology preview made it easy to compute water surface profiles for modeling rivers, bridges, culverts, spillways, levees, floodplain and floodway delineations, stream diversions, channel improvements, and split flows.

The technology preview will only operate for a few more days — until June 30, 2013. Customers who wish to continue to work with this technology can find a version that is compatible with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 in the Autodesk Subscription Center. The technology is listed as Autodesk River & Flood Analysis Module 2014 and is available to Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite 2014 Ultimate customers.
