Hi everyone, new to the forum. I am trying to find a way of getting points from Autocad 2010 directly into an excel spreadsheet ofr notepad. Problem is the points aren't numbered etc and when i use the data extraction tool they don't extract in the order they were clicked. Any help much appreciated?

Are these AutoCAD point objects, or blocks with attributes?
What information do you want, just northing, easting, elevation?

Have you tried the DATAEXTRACTION command?

Maybe Point Manager by Lee Mac may be more suitable to your purposes.
