When we originally announced Autodesk FormIt for the iPad last December, the Android question came up. I responded telling people that this product was designed for a tablet so logically one would start on the largest tablet market device then move out from their based on customer feedback. The Android tablet request was one of the top (if not the top) request, and the team will satisfy that Android tablet request as I mentioned they would. Autodesk FormIt 4.0 & Dynamo Announced at AIA 2013 –June 2013 “Before the Android tablet users fire up my comments section asking where is the Android version, the team is looking towards an Android tablet version sometime in the future.” The FormIt Team is moving at a lightning pace with going from Release 1 to 4 in just 7 month. Now there is an Android Tablet version of Autodesk FormIt confirmed, working, and to be released hopefully soon. Those with an Android tablet will have fun creating conceptual models that also automatically create a Autodesk Revit .rvt file in Autodesk 360. Check out the blog post by the team and a video of FormIt running on the Nexus. http://autodeskformit.com/2013/07/12/new-mobile-updates/ Back in June the team also mentioned a web based version would also be coming, so look for that in the future in addition to the Android tablet version. Cheers, Shaan
