Hi all. I desperately need Cry a lot of help; I have a CAD design of a sports car, but need to split the sides, front and rear to fit in my router machine to mill the shapes uot of foam. Secondly, the design displays a wire frame, but I need a "solid"  DXF surface to pull the design into my CAM software (LAZYCAM) to produce the G-codes to "mill" the shapes to make the moulds. Can someone please, either assist with the design, or guide me through the process with a step by step "dummy" tutorial, as I have never worked with any CAD software before. My milling/router machine can cut 1800mm wide X 2500mm long X 450mm high. Furthermore, what free/Trial 3D CAD software can I download and use if I need to create the design myself?
Thanx
Hendrik
