Eldorado: I don't know if you realize it or not but your drawing is based on a template that uses IMPERIAL units.  In this case they happen to be DECIMAL inches.  Given that your location is listed as the United Kingdom wouldn't you rather be drawing using a template based on METRIC units?

Your stringer actual measures 40 INCHES wide not 40 MILLIMETERS.  Same thing goes for your riser height which you show as 179.  It is in inches not millimeters.

BTW...40mm = 1.57 inches which is pretty close to the what it would be in the U.S.  170mm = 7.05 inches.

OK...you know.  Are you going to do anything about it?

Do you know how to extract the 2D views from the 3D model?

Yes I know but in this case is more complicated. I think about  how to set the coordinate system usc that I could extract  2D .If there would be a  two arcs instead helix ,would be no problem.

What command will you be using to extract the 2D views?  It may not make that much of a difference what your UCS is set to.

Set it for a plan view then derive the other views from it.
