Does anyone have info on MEP devices. I'm new to MEP and the devices don't seem to be related to Acad blocks or Revit families and I'm stuck.

I've made my own devices and I can re-point them to the correct block. When you insert a device in a new (clean) dwg without any block references where does the device look for the block? Any time I initially insert a device it loads the dwg with many blocks and layers that I don't want.

I'm working in electrical engineering and any thing would help.

Thanks    Confused
