Hello,

i have a question on dynamic blocks, especially the view states. Is it possible to toggle on/off the visibility for a single object in a dynamic block?

In my case that means: there is a profile where other profiles can be attached (2 at each corner, so in total 8 ones) I need a solution to display every single possibility. My idea was to toggle the objects (the attached profiles) on/ off seperately.

Any kind of help is appreciated!

Visibility states sound like the answer to your problem.

Thanks for the quick answer.

Yeah thought about that as well, but there would be just too many states for every possibility. Started to make the visibility states for each an every possibility with one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight profiles attached.

For now i solved it with a rotating and flipping parameter.

What i am asking for is a simple On/Off - switch in a dynamic block for the wanted object.

Setting up a dynamic block with eight possible visibility states would not be that difficult.  But you chose what you are the most comfortable.  There is no magic on/off switch that I am aware of.

Don't get me wrong, but it would be way more than just 8 views. If it would be so easy, there wouldn't be an issue.

But thank you anyway, i guess i'll just go with my solution then.

I guess I misunderstood the phrase "so in total 8 ones".
