Adding reliefs (undercuts) to shafts in Inventor.

A - answer The options for adding parametric Reliefs (Freistellung, Undercut, Grugeage) to shafts can be found in the Shaft Component Generator dialog. This function is available through the ribbon Design > Power Transmission > Shaft.

On the Design tab, in the Elements pane then select Cylinder in the tree control and choose the Relief - you can choose from SI Reliefs, DIN Reliefs and GOST Reliefs. Reliefs of the type A, B, C, D, E, F, G are available. You can also add reliefs as a section feature (4th column).
